Science Squads

The Science Squads are designed to promote the integration of the BioCoRE Scholars into the biomedical science community and foster mentoring and informal advising. Each Science Squad is comprised of an BioCoRE Undergraduate Scholar, BioCoRE Graduate Scholar, and BioCoRE faculty-affiliate member. Science Squads meet monthly in the context of the “What Makes Me a Scientist” series and informally throughout the duration of the scholars' time at Duke through events such as lunch, coffee, hiking, and bowling.
